TERMS OF SERVICE
RaynerCodes Cloud Solutions
Summary of how working with RaynerCodes Cloud Solutions works. Last updated October 2026.
Account ownership
Your AWS account is created in your name and is entirely yours. I access and manage it as an independent contractor on your behalf, and you can see and audit that access at any time.
Management of your account and domain
I manage the AWS account and the domain service used for your business and website, including DNS, certificates, hosting, and deployments, for as long as we're working together.
Initial fee
Work begins after the agreed initial fee has been paid in full. Nothing is built, configured, or deployed until then.
Monthly maintenance & revisions
As long as your monthly fee is paid, I will make reasonable revisions to your site whenever you need them — content changes, small layout updates, and fixes. Larger additions (new features, new systems, redesigns) are quoted separately before work starts.
Non-payment
If a monthly payment is missed, revision work pauses until the account is current. Your site stays online and your account stays yours — I won't take it down or lock you out.
AWS & domain costs
AWS usage and domain registration charges are billed by AWS and the registrar directly to you, separately from my fees. I'll estimate them up front and flag anything unusual.
Content & intellectual property
You own your content, branding, and the finished website. You grant me permission to use your materials to build and maintain the site. I may reuse generic code patterns and, unless you object, mention the project in my portfolio.
Website credit
Every website I build includes a small credit in its footer reading “Website by RaynerCodes Cloud Solutions,” linked back to raynercodes.dev.
Third-party software, services & APIs
Where I see it will help your business, I integrate third-party open-source software, services, or APIs. On request, I'll tell you what has been set up, where it lives, and why I chose it. Anything set up for your site is always tied to your own business accounts and credentials, never mine, so it stays with you. Any usage costs are billed to you directly, like AWS and domain costs, and I'll flag them up front.
Use of AI in my work
I use AI tools to help write code, and to create logos or images you haven't provided and to edit the logos or images you do provide, where and when your site needs it. AI is an assistant, not the decision-maker: I go back over every line of code it helps produce, test it in testing environments before anything reaches your live site, and make the critical engineering decisions myself so bugs aren't introduced. I'm responsible for the finished work either way, and I'll tell you on request where AI-created or AI-edited artwork is used.
Your responsibilities
You'll provide accurate content and timely feedback, and you confirm you have the rights to anything you give me to publish.
Cancelling & handoff
Either of us can end the arrangement with 30 days' written notice. Because the account is already yours, handoff is simple: I'll remove my access and provide documentation of how everything is set up, and you keep the site, domain, and account.
Availability & response times
I aim to reply to requests within one to two business days. AWS services are highly reliable but not perfect, so I can't promise uninterrupted uptime or a specific response time for every issue.
Privacy
Details you send through this form are used only to respond to you and scope your project. Client credentials and business data are never shared or sold. The full details are in the Privacy Policy, which also forms part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
Services are provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to the fees you paid me in the three months before a claim, and I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue.
These terms are a plain-language summary and may be updated; the agreement we sign for your project is what applies.
